Reynolds and Nicole’s blush and blue Deco inspired laser cut invitation suite
Reynolds and Nicole’s invitations were one for the books - I felt so lucky to get to be the one to bring their amazing vision into reality, because this was truly the most fun invitation to design!
So, this suite had all the things - it was Deco inspired, as they were to be married at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, but we definitely didn’t want to get too themey.
The color palette was soft blushes and blues, and a touch of bronze. For the letterpress invitation card, we chose a metallic ink, which is a really cool look on the cotton paper they used. It’s not super shiny, like foil, but it has just a little shimmer and depth.

Their invitation was mounted on a custom laser cut blush enclosure. I was inspired by the beautiful Deco architecture of Asheville!
Laser cutting is definitely a high end printing method, but the impact it gives is always worth it. All of my laser cut designs are completely custom made just for my clients.
I haven’t even gotten to the map yet! This map is one of my favorites - I created a watercolor illustration of the Grove Park Inn nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains, and then we added champagne foil accents, which stood out so beautifully!
My favorite map detail is the sweet pup peeking around the trolley. I just love when couples incorporate a beloved pet into their suite!

Nicole and Reynolds were just the best to work with. They both came to every meeting, and so did both of their moms, which is pretty rare!

It was so lovely to see the two families coming together with such excitement for the wedding, and it made me so happy to see everyone get so excited over the stationery.
Other details in this suite included a watercolor envelope liner, a custom monogram, and custom wax seal, and curated vintage stamps for their outer envelopes.

Congratulations, Nicole and Reynolds!
