A crazy fun New Year’s Eve wedding invitation suite!
Happy almost New Year! In honor of the upcoming holiday, today I thought I’d share the most FUN project I worked on last year. Doesn’t a wedding on New Year’s Eve, sound like it was an incredible way to start the year?
Since it was a New Year’s Eve wedding, we knew we really needed to make an impact.
I was inspired by fireworks for this project - the fireworks that typically happen on New Year’s Eve, and the fireworks that happen when you’re in love! It was a visual that was made for gold foil, and I had so much fun creating this illustration, and carrying it through the suite.
You know you have a cool design on your hands when your printer is stumped on how to actually translate your work to paper.
Another fun detail we included was a confetti belly band. I mean… you have to have a little confetti if you’re getting married on the most fun holiday of the year, am I right? I can’t even explain it, so you can just watch this video and see how it works instead!
