Rachael & Jesse’s exuberant floral illustrated invitation suite
Rachael and Jesse’s whole suite started out with an illustration of their venue for their save the dates, and I’ll be honest - it got a little out of hand. I am totally in love with this suite - let’s talk alll about it!
Rachael is the owner of the Local Squirrel, a boutique shop here in Raleigh, so I knew she had impeccable taste, and would probably want some pretty special invitations.
My favorite detail is that we incorporated a squirrel in every illustration, but to be honest, it’s hard to pick a favorite detail when everything is so good!
Their floral illustrations were foil stamped in my favorite champagne foil, and I loved how their map turned out - filled to the brim with illustrations of the places that are so special to them!
The envelopes added some shots of color that tied everything together - I loved how fresh the dusty blue and wine colors looked together, and how it all came together in the illustrations.
For this suite, I worked with Chelsey from Gather Together Events on the design. Her specialty is just incredibly unique weddings that always pull in such fun details - I love seeing it all come together in the end!
