Caitlyn was a total sweetheart to work with. I just loved spending time with her and her mom - it was so evident that this was a truly joyous time for both of them, and it made my days better to share in their excitement!

They were having a small ceremony in Mordecai chapel in downtown Raleigh, followed by a larger reception just down the street. Caitlyn wanted details that complimented the Victorian style of the church but kept a modern look as well.

We ended up going with a letterpress invitation card to really showcase the ornate illustrations I created for her. Caitlyn also loved watercolor, so I painted a watercolor map to show the downtown setting of her wedding.

Probably one of my favorite details of her suite was the blind deboss return address we did on her hunter green outer envelopes. It is such a fantastic way to add a lot of pattern and texture, but not have look visually overwhelming when you’re viewing it all together. It’s one of my favorite things to add details to a suite that invite the viewer to take a closer look.
